LESSON policies

By booking lessons with The Paige Scherer Music Studio, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.

Scheduling & Payment

  • Individual lessons must be paid in full before the scheduled lesson time.

  • Monthly lesson packages are billed at the beginning of each month and reserve your recurring weekly lesson time.

  • Monthly packages include four lessons per month (one lesson per week). Months containing a fifth week do not include an additional lesson unless otherwise arranged.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

I understand that schedules change! If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please provide at least 12 hours' notice.

  • Lessons canceled with 12 or more hours' notice may be rescheduled within the same month based on availability.

  • Cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice are considered forfeited and are not eligible for a refund or makeup lesson.

  • No-call/no-show lessons are forfeited and are not refunded or credited.

Instructor Cancellations

If I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, you will receive as much notice as possible, and the lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time or credited toward a future lesson.

In-Home Lessons

For in-home lessons, please ensure:

  • An adult (18+) is present in the home for students under 18.

  • A quiet, safe, distraction-free learning environment is available.

Student Arrival & Tardiness

  • Lessons begin and end at the scheduled time.

  • If a student arrives late or is unavailable at the scheduled start time, the lesson will still end at its originally scheduled time.

Illness

If you or your child are experiencing a fever, vomiting, or a contagious illness, please notify me as soon as possible. When possible, we may convert the lesson to an online lesson instead of canceling.

Liability

Students and parents assume responsibility for maintaining a safe lesson environment during in-home instruction. The Paige Scherer Music Studio is not responsible for injuries or damages unrelated to instruction.

Agreement

By booking lessons, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Lesson Policies & Terms.
